Britney Spears shows off engagement ring from Jason Trawick in LV

Spears and Jason Trawick are pulling out all the stops to celebrate their engagement.
The pair are holding a private gathering in Las Vegas with friends and family at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas tonight.
They are then expected to enjoy a big celebratory dinner at the Chocolate Lounge at the Sugar Factory in the Paris Hotel before carrying on the festivities at a dance party at the Chateau nightclub.
Of course, Vegas is familiar territory for the singer - it is where her 55 hour marriage to first husband Jason Alexander began and ended.


He was widely credited with helping to steer the star in a positive direction following her 2008 breakdown.
'We're really normal,' Britney said of their relationship in March.
'We just like to watch movies. We work out a lot. We love to work out. We do stuff together like that. We take walks.'
He is also a father figure to her two sons, Sean Preston, 6, and Jayden James, 5.
'Jason is just amazing with the boys,' she has said.


The pair celebrated with a private party at the Planet Hollywood resort followed by dinner at the Chocolate Lounge in the Sugar Factory restaurant of the nearby Paris hotel, and another party in that hotel's Chateau nightclub.
Jason - who was formerly Britney's agent - also confirmed the news yesterday, telling TV show Access Hollywood: 'Yes, we are engaged.'
The couple have been dating since 2009 after Britney ended her relationship with paparazzi snapper Adnan Ghalib.
Although Jason was her agent at the time, he stepped down from the role shortly after they began their relationship.
They briefly worked together earlier this year when he starred as her love interest in the video for her single Criminal.


This will be the third time Britney has married. She first wed childhood friend Jason Alexander in January 2004, but annulled the union just 55 hours later, saying: 'It was me being silly, being rebellious, and not really taking the responsibility of what I was doing.'
Later that year she married former backing dancer Kevin Federline, who is the father of her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
