Speaking in a new interview with TV Guide, Trevino confirms that Tyler is going to seek out Caroline's father Bill Forbes (Jack Coleman), who we last saw earlier this season try to pull the vampire out of his daughter. This time, Bill's going to be used to try and help Tyler break the bond with Klaus that is forcing him to do things against his will.
When we asked Ms. Accola what upcoming episode she was excited for fans to see, she immediately said the ball.
"I'm really excited there's an episode where there's a ball. Everyone got to get all dressed up," she says. "We took ball dancing lessons. It was really fun. I'm excited for people to see that episode for many more reasons besides the fact that we got to get dressed up, but I don't want to give those reasons away. I'm just going to say because we got all dressed up, which is code for a lot of s--t goes down."
"Klaroline" fans will be happy to see that Caroline appears to be wearing the bracelet Klaus gave her for her 18th birthday in the above photo. Could Caroline be harboring some secret feelings for the OG hybrid? If that wasn't enough, the episode description includes "Caroline discovers a side of Klaus no one would have suspected."
